Marvel Comics publishes American comic books featuring Wanda Maximoff’s character, The Scarlet Witch. The character was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and had his comic book debut in The X-Men #4 (March 1964). Since the 1980s, the Scarlet Witch—who was once believed to be able to change probability—has been portrayed as a formidable sorceress who, on occasion, has gained the capacity to change reality by channeling stronger energy sources.
