Hiya Beautiful People!

A little about me…I’m a Christian, farm wife, boy mom, long distance runner, hot weather fanatic, smeller of rain, listener of birds, chaser of fireflies, and oh-so full of energy. All of those in one…make for a pretty-freaking-fantastic-awesome life!

To elaborate…God comes first. I pray daily. I find one thing each morning that I am grateful for and recite it to myself before I get out of bed. I fall asleep in the middle of prayer almost nightly and believe that is God’s way of listening and granting me peace. I haven’t used my husband’s (of 11 years) first name but maybe 10 times. He is “Babes” to me…it even says so on our license plates. My boys are wild, but have the biggest hearts. I learn so much from them. They teach me how to laugh, how to play, and how to show unconditional kindness to others. I run! I LOVE running! It is my time to pray, de-stress, listen to the birds sing, come up with new shooting techniques, or not think at all. Hot weather! Yes PLEASE!! I run over noon hour in the summer…enough said! Oh AND…I will “cruise” anywhere in the world if we land on a “summery” island. The smell of rain makes me have butterflies. The sound of birds singing gives me soul-deep peace. I’m always game to visit my parents and chase fireflies with the boys. Growing up, I had at least six mason jars of them under my bed all summer long (PS – holes poked in top so they can breath and leaves and sticks to be more like their natural habitat). Energy…YUP…I never stop moving! I believe movement gives us life and keeps us alive!
